Pibiflex® is a soft thermoplastic elastomer with a polyester base (precisely a co-polyster). It is a pure material without the addition of any chemical plasticizers, it is non toxic, odour free and with no emission. It has a very high elastic return in every condition, in extremely high as well as extremely low temperatures, and an excellent level of resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents.
Due to its excellent mechanical characteristics, high flexibility in every condition and an excellent resistance to materials, the Pibiflex® products are used with success in several fields of application, in the automobile, construction, medical, food and drinks, electrical appliances and consumer goods industries as well as in the heart of the xtra-ordinario structure.
Thanks to its characteristics of intrinsic polymeric purity, Pibiflex® can be tested and certified on the basis of several worldwide norms related to Total Emission and Contact with Food. In reality, one of the main advantages of thermoplastic elastomers compared with other plastic materials is the extremely easy recycling process of waste, in line with the choice of creating products that are becoming more and more eco-sustainable.
